UNLOCKING MINDS ONE CHILD AT A TIME

ABOUT LOCKRIDGE LEARNING SERVICES

The History...

Lockridge Learning Services, LLC, was initially founded as Lockridge Academy on Wheels Tutoring and Enrichment Services in Buffalo, NY, in 2012 by Ms. Christine J. Lockridge. Beginning in 2012, Ms. Lockridge would travel from home to home, providing tutorial services for students K-2nd grade. As time passed, Ms. Lockridge relocated to Denver, Colorado, continued her tutorial services, and began hosting community events such as the Black History Extravaganza. Ms. Lockridge also hosted several Free Booki Give-A-Ways at local establishments, providing a love for reading in the Denver and Colorado Springs communities. As time progressed, due to the overwhelming response of families, Lockridge Learning Services expanded its services to virtual and in-person—currently, Ms. Lockridge resides in upstate New York, where she continues to host literacy events in person and virtually, as well as enrichment sessions.

The Misson...

The mission of Lockridge Learning Services, Inc. is to unlock the minds of scholars from Kinder to 6th grade in the areas of literacy skills, including:

  1. Phonological Awareness

  2. Phonics

  3. Fluency

  4. Vocabulary

  5. Comprehension

Ms. Lockridge offers one-on-one enrichment sessions to enhance her literacy skills through specialized individual instruction with her literacy and Special Education experience. Her goal is for scholars, at a minimum, to be at a grade level reading level or above.

The Long-term Goal...
